Apulia’s wines, agro-alimentary products and gastronomy have become an internationally recognized synonym for excellence and good taste. It is not by chance that we consider Apulian wine to be the best ambassador of 'Apulianness', of this generous land’s identitary traits. Our viticultural traditions are part of our economic system’s DNA: they have shaped the society and culture of our communities, and are thus formidable repositories of our history. This history has acquired new tinges thanks to our agro-alimentary products and gastronomy, eclectic expressions of a quality which has risen to international fame - and indeed, quality has become the most distinctive trait of "Made in Puglia" products. Our regional development policies aim to support our producers’ passionate efforts, and to valorise an extraordinary oenological and gastronomic basket which has few peers worldwide. The results we are achieving, such as the success of Puglia’s best labels, horticultural products, cuisine and gastronomy indicate that we have chosen the right path.
