'Feudi di San Marzano' operates in the northern part of Salento. It was born in 1962 from a partnership between 20 local producers who wanted to enhance the fruits of their work. The decades that followed brought a natural evolution of the cooperative, the physical site and the wines themselves. These years of hard work, passion and curiosity have progressively resulted in a new style winery committed to creating elegant wines, without forgetting its obligation to Apulia’s wine tradition, environment and wider community. From its inception the company has grown significantly, from 20 to 1500 producers in 50 years, covering a production area of 800 hectares and producing over 9.000.000 yearly bottles of high quality wine. Nowadays 'Feudi di San Marzano' is an excellence in Italy and operates in more than 60 markets worldwide, including Germany, Switzerland, the UK, The Netherlands, the USA, Canada, Japan and Brazil. This success is due to a production philosophy which binds traditional methods to a modern approach: on the fields, a set of agronomic practices inherited from the past provide for the meticulous care of the plants and their fruits; in the cellars, 'Feudi di San Marzano' relies upon the undoubted benefits of the latest winemaking technology.
