Training: Bi-lateral spurred cordon
Vineyard area: ca. 30 hectares
Harvest period: Second decade of September
Fermentation: Controlled-temperature for 7-10 days, followed by brief maceration. Spontaneous malolactic fermentation, followed initial fermentation
Maturation: In stainless steel, then 6-8 month in 50hl-Slavonian oak botti, then ca. 12 months in lined cement vats. Then bottle ageing.
Appareance: A rich, deep ruby
Boquest: Intensely fruity, with balsam and spice
Palate: full bodied and well balanced, smooth and lengthy development
Serving suggestion: Roast meats, poultry game, full-flavoured dishes
